Orestis Briasoulis

Orestis Briasoulis has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Orestis held several positions there including International Lead of Medical Affairs Clinical Trials, Launch Excellence & Medical Operations from October 2020 to March 2021, Director of Medical Affairs Lead for Switzerland & Austria from January 2020 to September 2020, Associate Director of Medical Affairs Lead for Switzerland & Austria from January 2018 to December 2019, Associate Director of Medical Affairs for Metabolic Disorders in Central, Eastern & South-Eastern Europe from June 2017 to December 2017, and Medical Advisor for Metabolic Disorders in Switzerland, Israel, Greece & Cyprus from August 2016 to May 2017.

Orestis also worked as an Honorary Lecturer at UCL starting from March 2018. Before that, they gained experience as an Internal Medicine Resident at Kantonsspital St.Gallen from March 2014 to May 2015. Orestis also worked as a Respiratory Medicine Resident at the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Hochgebirgsklinik Davos (HGK) from February 2013 to January 2014, and as a Guest Doctor in Respiratory Medicine at Kantonsspital St.Gallen from September 2012 to January 2013.

Orestis Briasoulis, MD, MSc has an education history that includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Ioannina, which they obtained from 2006 to 2012. In 2009, they also participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at Medizinische Universität Innsbruck. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued an MSc in Clinical Drug Development at UCL, and in 2017, they attended the London Business School for a course in Finance for Non-Finance Executives.
