Seshu Ajjarapu

Seshu Ajjarapu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, product management, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering & Product at Google DeepMind since March 2020, Ajjarapu focuses on advancing artificial intelligence for societal benefit. Additionally, roles as advisor and non-executive director are held at various organizations, including Muon Space, IDOVEN, and Converge. Prior to DeepMind, significant contributions were made at Lyft as Senior Director for Level 5, where Ajjarapu led operations for self-driving initiatives, and at Google from 2007 to 2017 in multiple senior roles, including Principal for Mergers & Acquisitions. Early career experience includes positions at Intel Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and Ansys, Inc. Ajjarapu holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and Acharya Nagarjuna University.
