Victor Valdes

Victor Valdes is a highly experienced data science and machine learning professional, currently serving as VP of Data Science and Head of Data Science at Idoven since December 2023. Previously, Victor held several significant roles at Google DeepMind, including Staff Research Engineer/Manager and Senior Research Engineer/Technical Lead, focusing on the application of machine learning. Earlier experience includes leading design and development in image processing at Imagination Technologies, and conducting research and teaching at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where Victor specialized in video processing and telecommunications. With a solid foundation in software engineering from Bankinter and Visar Control Industrial S.L., Victor earned a PhD in Computer Science & Telecommunications from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, complementing earlier degrees in the same field.
