Simon Emmett

Simon Emmett is an experienced leader in the education sector, currently serving as CEO of IDP Connect since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing client and partner strategy and operational delivery for student-facing platforms. As a member of the Global Leadership Team at IDP Education Ltd since January 2017, Simon contributes to the strategic direction of the organization. Prior to these roles, Simon held various positions at Hotcourses Group from December 2000 to January 2019, including CEO and Managing Director for the UK, where Simon led the development of key education comparison sites. Simon's career began with roles focused on account management and commercial development in the UK, Europe, and the USA. Simon holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, graduated in 1999.
