Vugar Hashimov

Vugar Hashimov has extensive work experience in the technology and research field. Vugar has been with IDRAK Technology Transfer since 2006, starting as a Software Developer and progressing to Senior Software Developer and Project Manager. Currently, Vugar holds the position of Chief Technical Officer at IDRAK Technology Transfer.

In addition to their role at IDRAK, Vugar also worked at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS. Vugar served as a Senior Research Fellow in the Laboratory of recognition, identification, and methods of optimal solutions. Vugar also held the position of Senior Research Fellow in the Numerical decision-making methods in deterministic systems at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS.

Vugar Hashimov has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Baku State University (2004-2008). Vugar then obtained a Master's degree in Business organization and management (MBA) from Azerbaijan State University of Economics (2009-2012). After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Mathematics from Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (2014-2016). Currently, they are working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS (2017-2021).
