Alexis Borisy

Alexis Borisy is a highly experienced professional in the biotech industry. In 2010, they joined Third Rock Ventures as a Partner until June 2019. During this time, they also co-founded and served as a Director at Blueprint Medicines. From 2013 to 2014, they acted as the Interim CEO of the same company.

In 2014, Borisy became a Founding Investor and Board Member at REVOLUTION Medicines. In 2016, they co-founded Relay Therapeutics, where they held the positions of Co-Founder and Chairman, as well as Co-Founder and CEO. Alexis continued to serve as Chairman of the Board at Tango Therapeutics from 2017 onwards.

In 2019, Borisy joined Thrive Earlier Detection Corp. as a member of the Board of Directors for a period of two years. Later, in 2020, they founded EQRx and served as Founder, Chairman, and CEO until September 2021. Currently, they fulfill the role of Founder and Executive Chairman at EQRx.

As of 2022, Borisy has taken on several leadership positions. Alexis is a Co-Founder and Chairman at Curie.Bio and a Co-Founder at IDRx. Additionally, they joined Nextech Invest as a Board Member in July 2022.

Alexis Borisy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in the years spanning from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University.
