Antonio Papa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.
Antonio began their career in 1985 as a Lieutenant and Group Leader in the Ministry of Defence. In 1986, they worked as a Consultant at ARTHUR ANDERSEN Consulting. From 1988 to 1994, they served as an Area Manager at ERICSSON - Private Network Systems, focusing on integrated network solutions for corporate and large companies.
In 1995, Antonio worked as a Sales Manager at AT&T Italia Spa until 1996. Antonio then joined Nokia Networks in 1997 as an Account Director, overseeing the company's second-largest customer in Italy. Antonio successfully expanded the business to the mobile networks sector.
From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Siemens Mobile Communication as the TIM Global Account Head, responsible for managing Telecom Italia's operations, sales, and business development. During this time, they also coordinated the global strategy for Telecom Italia's international operations.
In 2008, they joined Nokia Siemens Networks as the Head of South East Region Business Excellence and Private Networks Business Development, where they focused on integrating two merging companies and improving sales processes and cost structures.
From 2012 to 2013, Antonio worked as a Senior Consultant on two projects, one related to smart city security and another on automated cyber defense, during their freelance period.
In 2013, they became a Senior Account Manager at EPS Datacom, where they specialized in IT security and integrated advanced projects based on IP.
Antonio's most recent position was at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., where they served as the Cyber Lab Sales Manager. Their responsibilities included developing and managing integrated security solutions and providing cyber security services and solutions to internal and external customers.
Antonio Papa completed their Master's degree in Homeland Security with a specialization in Risk, Security & Crisis Management and Business Continuity from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma between 2012 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Italian Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome spanning from 1980 to 1984.
