Chris Bauer

As CEO of IDS International, Mr. Bauer oversees all strategic and day-to-day aspects of the business. His ability to leverage strategic relationships and rapidly win, close, and execute technology driven solutions is well known throughout the industry. He has more than 30 years of executive leadership experience.

Prior to joining IDS, Bauer was chief growth officer of Valiant Integrated Services. Before being promoted to it, he was chief operating officer of Valiant’s National Security & Training Support divisions. During his career with Valiant, Bauer was responsible for some of the company’s most complex and vital operations serving the intelligence community and special operations forces domestically and internationally, and a member of its executive management team. He oversaw 4,000 associates and the successful operation of multiple contracts totaling over $500 million in annual revenue.

Prior to Valiant, Bauer served as group vice president for civilian agencies at Unisys’ federal business, and as executive vice president and general manager of the systems engineering and information solutions strategic business unit at AECOM. His senior leadership expertise was also utilized by Dell; government services, American Systems; and Triple-I Corp.

Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy. His expertise and commitment to delivering innovative IT services were also evidenced by his induction into the Wash 100—Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of the most influential leaders in government contracting.
