Volker Specht

Volker Specht has extensive experience in quality control, with various roles in different companies. Volker started their career in 1997 as the Head of Quality Control at BioteCon Therapeutics GmbH, where they worked until 2006. Volker then joined Bavarian Nordic GmbH as the Head of Quality Control until 2013. Volker then worked at PAREXEL International as the Quality Manager for Process QM from 2013 to 2014. Volker joined IDT Biologika GmbH in 2014 and held the position of Senior Project Manager Quality Control until 2016. In 2015, they became the Head of Quality Control Human Vaccines at IDT Biologika GmbH. Currently, Volker is at IDT Biologika as the Head of the Excellence Team Quality Control since 2018.

Volker Specht's education history includes a Vordiplom in Chemie from the University of Bremen, which they completed from 1988 to 1990. Volker then pursued a Diplom in Chemie from The Philipp University of Marburg from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they obtained a Promotion in Chemie from The Philipp University of Marburg, which they completed from 1994 to 1997.
