Chi-Feng Pai is an Associate Professor at National Taiwan University since February 2016, specializing in unconventional computing based on spintronics, unconventional exchange interactions, and enhancing spin-orbit torque efficiency for next-generation MRAM. Prior to this role, Chi-Feng Pai served as an Assistant Professor focusing on courses related to magnetic materials, thermodynamics, and solid-state physics, alongside research on spin-orbit torque characterization. Chi-Feng Pai has held various positions including Taiwan Chapter Chair and Vice Chair of the IEEE Magnetics Society, and as a researcher at TSMC on SOT-MRAM development. Additionally, Chi-Feng Pai served as a Consulting Research Fellow at ITRI, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT, and a Research Assistant at Cornell University. Educational background includes a PhD in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and a BSc and BEng in Physics and Materials Science Engineering from National Taiwan University. Military service was completed as a Second Lieutenant in the Republic of China Army, managing logistics in an armored infantry battalion.
