Abhishek Mahesh Appaji

Abhishek Mahesh Appaji is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in research and development, serving as the Head of R&D and Associate Professor at B. M. S. College of Engineering since September 2010. Abhishek's leadership roles in the IEEE community include Chair of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, Vice Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, and Treasurer of the IEEE Bangalore Section. Abhishek also co-founded Glucotek Inc and has been involved with various IEEE chapters and initiatives, such as TEDxBMSCE. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Maastricht University and multiple master's degrees in Bioinformatics, Information Technology, and an Engineer's Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Abhishek participated in the MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in 2017, enhancing expertise in new ventures leadership.
