Dr. Greg Adamson is a distinguished professional in information security and cyber risk management, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Portfolio Security Advisor at the Department of Transport and Planning since January 2022. With an extensive background in cyber security across health, critical infrastructure, and financial services, Dr. Adamson has held a principal role at Digital Risk Innovation since October 2016. In addition to roles at IEEE, including Technical Activities Vice President and various committee chair positions focusing on ethical standards and blockchain education, Dr. Adamson contributes to Internet Australia as a board member and Club Melbourne Ambassador. An honorary Principal Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Dr. Adamson has also served in senior risk and security management capacities at ANZ and CQV. Academic qualifications include a Master of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and a PhD in eBusiness from RMIT University.
