Randi S. Sumner

Randi S. Sumner, CAE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at IEEE since 2007, highlighting extensive experience in organizational management and development. Notably, Randi was the Founding Event Organizer and IEEE.tv Producer for the IEEE N3XT Entrepreneurship Affiliate Event Series from November 2015 to June 2020. Prior professional roles include serving as a Volunteer Delegate for the UN Foundation, Project Consultant and Executive Coach at ZGroup, and various positions in educational and organizational consulting at Kaplan, Inc. and Tecker Consultants, among others. Randi also held leadership roles as Executive Director of the NJ Society of Association Executives and Deputy Director at the NJ Apartment Association, demonstrating a strong background in association management, strategic operations, and community engagement. Randi holds a BA, cum laude, in Sociology from Brandeis University and is a Certified Association Executive.
