David McCall

David McCall is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in industrial standards and product strategy. Currently serving as Vice-Chair of the IEEE 802.1 TSN Task Group and a voting member of IEEE 802.1, David also holds board positions at The Open Group and UniversalAutomation.org. A Senior Director at Intel Corporation since 2011, David has contributed significantly to smart home solutions and wireless innovations. Previously, David held leadership roles at Open Connectivity Foundation as President, ConnectSoft as VP of Sales & Marketing, and CSR as VP of the PC Strategic Business Unit, achieving notable revenue growth. David's early career includes engineering roles at Visteon and Ford Motor Company, alongside an MEng degree in Electronics from The University of Edinburgh.
