Sylvia Lozano has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with their most recent role as Vice President Hospital Relations at IEHP starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Alameda Health System from 2016 to 2021, where they served as Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for leading change efforts, driving strategy, and implementing operational improvements. From 2013 to 2017, Sylvia was the Senior Administrative Director of Regulatory Compliance and Organizational Improvement at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System. During this time, they provided leadership in areas of regulatory compliance, patient safety, and program development.
Sylvia Lozano holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from California State University, Bakersfield. Sylvia has obtained several additional certifications, including being a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 2019 and being a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management through the American Hospital Association in 2015. Sylvia also has certifications in areas such as patient safety, healthcare quality, healthcare accreditation, and lean.
