David Ortiviz

David Ortiviz is a seasoned Public Outreach Project Manager at IEM since April 2013, overseeing the public outreach contract for the Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives, focused on the safe destruction of chemical weapons at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Kentucky. Previously, David served as Public Outreach Manager for the Pueblo Chemical Stockpile Outreach Office. With a background in journalism, David worked as a Multimedia Journalist at KOAA-TV, delivering in-depth reports on community events and breaking news in Southern Colorado, and as a General Assignment Reporter at KVEW-TV, focusing on law enforcement and environmental issues. David's career began as a video editor at KKTV 11 News. Educationally, David is currently pursuing a Social Media Management Certificate at Georgetown University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Colorado State University Pueblo.
