Amanda Swain is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Director and Dean of Faculty at IES Abroad since 2017, Amanda Swain has held several roles including Assistant Director, Interim Center Director, and Coordinator of Academic Affairs, focusing on course supervision, faculty support, and academic strategic planning. Prior to this, Amanda Swain was a Doctoral Student in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago, specializing in 20th Century U.S. literature, and worked as an Editorial Assistant for the journal Critical Inquiry. Amanda Swain also served as a House Fellow at the University of Michigan Program in Florence.
