Laurel A. Brooks

Laurel A. Brooks, M.Ed, currently serves as the International Program Manager for Global South at IES Abroad, where responsibilities include enhancing efficiency and transparency in academic processes and leveraging technology for program development. Prior experience includes roles as Special Projects Manager in the Office of the Provost at IES Abroad, Higher Education Contributor at HBCU Digest, and Program Coordinator for the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program at Howard University. Additionally, experience encompasses research and event coordination at the Center for Asian Studies at American University and teaching English at Henan Polytechnic University. Laurel holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
