Salvador Ortiz

Salvador Ortiz has extensive experience in administration and human resources, currently serving as the Head of Administration and Human Resources at IES Abroad since August 2007, overseeing operations and budgeting for the Barcelona center, which hosts over 1800 students annually. Previously, Salvador held roles as the Outside University Courses & Customized Programs Coordinator and as the Human Resource Manager at Associació Cívica d'Ajuda Mútua, where responsibilities included implementing hiring policies and ensuring occupational safety for a staff of 140. Additionally, Salvador served as the Director of Operations for the Catalonian Federation of Parents and Students Association and as the Assistant to the General Manager at the Professional and Solidarity Foundation, Solired. Academic qualifications include an MBA and degrees in Industrial Relations, Political Science, and Human Resource Management, complemented by a Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention.
