Monika Prchalova

Monika Prchalova is currently a PhD Student and Teaching & Research Assistant at IÉSEG School of Management since September 2025. Prior to this role, Monika served as an Environment Management Associate (Circular Economy) at UNDP from January 2024 to September 2025 and worked as a UNV Disaster Risk Reduction Officer at the World Food Programme from March 2022 to March 2023. Monika also held positions at St John Ambulance as Vaccination Volunteer Lead and Customer Service Administrator from January 2021 to February 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postgraduate Student Ambassador and Project Support Assistant at the University of Birmingham while also organizing an annual Research Poster Conference. Between May 2017 and July 2019, Monika worked as a Student Ambassador, Schools Engagement Leader, and Pathways English Learning Mentor at the University of Northampton. Monika holds a Master's degree in Environment, Development and Politics from the University of Birmingham (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and International Development from the University of Northampton (2016-2019).
