Darrel Miller is an experienced technology professional with a distinguished career in API architecture and developer experience, primarily at Microsoft from October 2015 to March 2025. As a Partner API Architect, Darrel shaped the developer experience for M365 Copilot, while also serving in various roles including API Architect and Principal Program Manager, focusing on developer tooling for Microsoft Graph. Additionally, Darrel is the Chair of the IETF working group on HTTP APIs and a member of the Open API Initiative Technical Steering Committee, contributing to the advancement of HTTP extensions and the OpenAPI specification. Prior to Microsoft, Darrel held the position of CTO at Tavis Software Inc., leading the development of a commercial ERP product. Darrel holds a B. Eng in Computer Engineering from Concordia University.
