Rifaat Shekh-Yusef

Rifaat Shekh-Yusef is a seasoned professional in product security and identity and access management with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Product Security Architect at Ciena since October 2024, Rifaat has also held significant roles at the IETF as Chair of the SecDispatch Working Group and Chair of the Web Authorization Protocol (OAuth) Working Group since April 2017. Previous positions include Director of Engineering for Identity & Cybersecurity Consulting at EY, Group Product Manager for IAM Standards at Okta, and Senior Product Manager II for IAM Protocols at Auth0. Rifaat's earlier career included a tenure as Software Consulting Engineer at Avaya and IP Clients SIP Architect at Nortel, along with leadership in the HTTPAuth Working Group at IETF from July 2015 to February 2017.
