Gilles Fedak

Gilles Fedak is the Co-Founder and CEO at iExec. Prior to this, they were a research scientist at INRIA where they initiated the iEx.ec project. Gilles has also been a PI of ANR CloudPower and a WP leader in FP7 EDGeS/EDGI. In addition, they are the co-editor of the book "Desktop Grid Computing" with Christophe Cérin and has co-organized various workshops such as BIGDATA (ICPP, 2013), MapReduce (HPDC 2010-2012), and PCGRID (IPDPS 2007-2010). Gilles has served as an expert for French National Research Agency (ANR), NWO (Holland), European Union (FP7 -Scalable Data Analytics call), Danish Council for Research, and French Embassy in China.

Gilles Fedak received their Master's degree in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) and their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the same school. Gilles also received an HDR in Informatique from École normale supérieure de Lyon. Currently, they are a DU Dirgier une activité at emlyon business school.
