Michael Klueppel

Michael Klueppel is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in health IT and software development. Currently employed at Sophrona Solutions, Inc. since January 2023, Michael previously spent over a decade at ifa systems AG, where responsibilities included adapting EMRs to meet ONC requirements and managing development teams across the US and Germany. Prior roles featured significant contributions to e-prescribing functionality, EMR workflow management, and HL7 connectivity at ifa united i-tech, as well as development of automated hardware testing systems at Bontronic Steuerungstechnik, and advanced ticketing systems at Sony. Michael began their career focusing on database implementation and microcontroller solutions, showcasing a strong foundation in various programming languages and software development practices. Education was obtained from the University of Koblenz, graduating in 1995.
