Brad Word is an accomplished Purchasing Manager with extensive experience in sourcing raw materials and overseeing procurement processes. Currently, Brad leads purchasing efforts at Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind, focusing on meeting production and customer requirements while optimizing inventory and enhancing labor efficiency for individuals who are blind. Prior roles include purchasing management at Legacy Paddlesports and Lee Valley Tools Canada, as well as serving as a Senior Buyer at MWW™ Manual Woodworkers & Weavers, Inc. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
