Muhammed Güven

Muhammed Güven, CMA has a strong work experience in finance and controlling. Muhammed is currently working as the Vice President Group Controlling at IFCO SYSTEMS since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Group Controlling and Reporting at APCOA Parking Holdings GmbH from November 2018 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for various financial tasks such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, net working capital management, Capex controlling, and monthly/quarterly reporting. Muhammed also provided ad-hoc analyses to management and stakeholders and customized reporting packages using BI tools. Muhammed Güven also worked as a Senior Group Controller at APCOA Parking Holdings GmbH from November 2017 to October 2018.

Before joining APCOA, they worked as a Controller in the International Finance Program at Körber AG from February 2015 to October 2017. Muhammed gained valuable experience as a European Graduate Trainee Finance at CSM Bakery Solutions from October 2014 to January 2015. Muhammed also worked briefly as an Off-Cycle Analyst at Jefferies LLC in 2013 and as a Summer Analyst at BNP Paribas in 2012 and Rothschild in 2011. Their career began as a Bank Clerk at Kreissparkasse Köln from September 2006 to March 2009.

Muhammed Güven, CMA, holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance from Imperial College London (2012-2013). Muhammed also completed an exchange program in Financial Economics at EDHEC Business School in 2012. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Güven obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) with distinction (cum laude) in International Business from Maastricht University (2009-2012). In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2017, and the IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate in 2020. Most recently, Güven received the Leadership Gold Level certification from the IMA in 2021.
