Alzbeta Klein

Alzbeta Klein, CFA, serves as the CEO and Director General of the International Fertilizer Association since January 2021 and is a Board Member and Chair of the HR Committee at FinDev Canada. Klein is also a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board for Nestlé Nespresso SA and serves as Chair of the Nominations and Governance Committee for the International Fertilizer Development Center. Previously, a Director and Global Head at the International Finance Corporation for 24 years, overseeing a $16 billion investment business, Klein has held various board positions, including with the Latin American Agribusiness Development Corporation and NYU Stern School of Business. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master's in Economics from the University of Ottawa, along with executive education in Finance from Harvard Business School and Corporate Finance from INSEAD.
