Sanjay Deorari

Sanjay Deorari has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Head of Reinsurance at IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Co. Ltd. since July 2001. In this role, Sanjay manages a diverse Pan India property portfolio, focusing on maintaining balanced exposure to various risks and monitoring financial performance indicators. Previous positions include General Manager for both Reinsurance and Property & Engineering Underwriting, where comprehensive reviews of underwriting strategies and the implementation of automation led to enhanced processes. Sanjay has also been responsible for developing and underwriting facultative inward business in the Middle East and South East Asia, demonstrating strong expertise in global business relations. Sanjay's career began at Sundaram Finance Limited, and educational qualifications include a PGDBM in Finance from BIT Mesra and a B.Com from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
