Lachlan Davis

Lachlan Davis is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Large Cap Equities at IFM Investors since May 2016. In this role, Lachlan leads a quantitative factor-based investment process known as 'Smart Quant' across Australia and Asia, supported by a skilled team. Prior to IFM Investors, Lachlan held various leadership positions at AMP Capital from 1996 to 2015, including Head of Multi-Strategy and Deputy Head of Multi-Strategy, managing substantial investment portfolios and developing strategies that integrated quantitative and qualitative approaches. Lachlan holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and an Honours degree in Economics and Finance from The Australian National University.
