Etienne Girard is an accomplished R&I Project Manager and Research Scientist specializing in hydroprocessing and biomass conversion at IFP Energies Nouvelles since September 2013. Girard has played a key role in identifying and developing novel catalyst and process concepts, leading to the submission of over 29 patents and advancing research methodologies through high-throughput experimentation and modeling tools. In addition to contributions in industrial projects, Girard serves as the Chair of the GECat group within the Société Chimique de France, fostering collaboration within the French-speaking catalysis community. Educational credentials include a PhD in Polymer Science from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and an MSc in Chemistry from Chimie ParisTech - PSL.
