Maira Fortunato

Maira Fortunato is a seasoned Project Manager and Complex Fluids Researcher at IFP Energies nouvelles, specializing in soil pollution research and remediation methods since March 2013. Previous roles include Biofuel Research Chemist, focusing on alternative fuels for the automotive and aviation industries, and contributions to Sustainable Aviation Fuels studies. Maira's postdoctoral research experience includes work on fuels, lubricants, and emissions, and the development of catalytic materials for environmental depollution systems at IRCELyon. Earlier career stages involved the development of innovative ceramic materials for exhaust gas treatment at Saint-Gobain and consulting for the petrochemical industry at Pensalab Equipamentos Industriais S.A. Maira holds a Master's degree in Atomic Scale Modelling from École normale supérieure de Lyon and University of Amsterdam, and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
