Elena Blobel

Elena Blobel is currently the Director of Litigation at IFPI since September 2011. Prior to that, Elena held the position of Senior Legal Advisor at the same company. Elena also worked as a Desk Officer at Brandenburg State Chancellery from May 2011 to September 2011 and as a Research Assistant at Erich Pommer Institut gGmbH from November 2007 to November 2010. Elena obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Copyright Law from the University of Potsdam in 2013. Elena completed their Legal Trainee at Berlin Superiour Court of Justice (Referendariat) from 2005 to 2007 and obtained their First State Examination (Staatsexamen) in Law from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2005. Elena also holds a Licence and Maitrise en droit in Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, completed in 2003.
