Lauri Rechardt has an extensive legal background in the music industry, starting in 1992 as an Assistant Director at Gramex Finland. With a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki, Rechardt has held various key roles such as Director of Litigation & Licensing at IFPI and Managing Director at Musiikkituottajat - IFPI Finland. Currently serving as Chief Legal Officer at IFPI, Rechardt oversees collective licensing activities and legal policy efforts to ensure a fair operating framework for music companies.
