Agathe de la Hougue

Agathe de La Hougue is a Doctorant at IFREMER since October 2020, focusing on the parametric optimization of hydrofoils. Prior experience includes an internship at the Sailing Yacht Research Unit, University of Auckland, where optimization of foils' 2D and 3D sections for a foiling moth was conducted. Agathe also interned at GSea Design, working on the validation and optimization of reinforcement sizing for racing carbon mast chainplates using FEA software. Leadership experience includes serving as President of Massilia Défi Voile, facilitating sailing experiences for 150 active members, and gaining hands-on experience in the production workshop of Lagoons catamarans during an internship. Agathe holds engineering diplomas from Centrale Nantes and Centrale Méditerranée and completed a Classe Préparatoire Scientifique at Fénelon Sainte Marie.
