Aourell Mauffret

Aourell Mauffret is a seasoned researcher and consultant specializing in biogeochemistry and ecotoxicology, currently working at IFREMER since August 2016. Mauffret's expertise lies in understanding the transfer and effects of chemical contaminants in marine ecosystems and how various environmental pressures modulate these processes. In addition to a role at AM consulting environment since October 2011, which involves consulting and training in several scientific fields, Mauffret has previously worked as a research fellow in microbiology at BRGM and as a lecturer at various universities, imparting knowledge on microbiology and chemistry. Mauffret's extensive educational background includes a PhD in Marine Sciences from Universidad de Cádiz and degrees in Toxicology, Biochemistry, and a DEA.
