Bruno Carneiro Leão

Bruno Carneiro Leão has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Bruno started their career as an Engineer at Abengoa, where they worked on the implementation of transmission lines and substations. Bruno was responsible for project approval, managing construction works, coordinating teams, and controlling costs. Bruno also participated in the expansion of substations owned by Abengoa along with other companies.

Afterwards, Bruno joined Eletrobrás, where they initially worked in the Department of Studies and International Business, conducting studies on the electric sector of countries of interest to the company. Later, they moved to the Business Prospecting Department in Central America and the Caribbean, where they conducted pre-feasibility studies for projects, identified business opportunities, and analyzed proposals. Bruno also participated in technical and financial studies to support Eletrobrás in acquiring assets in the region.

Following their time at Eletrobrás, Bruno became a Partner and CFO at CL Digital Marketing. In this role, they focused on digital marketing services such as website creation, SEO, sponsored links, and social media. The company aimed to provide digital marketing products and consultancy services to various types of businesses.

Most recently, Bruno joined iFriend as the CFO, starting in 2017. Additional information about their role at iFriend is not provided.

Bruno Carneiro Leão's education history starts with their technical degree in Electronics from Fundação Bradesco, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Bruno then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electrotechnics at CEFET-RJ from 2001 to 2006.

In 2010 and 2011, Bruno completed a specialization in Wind Energy from ABDIB – Associação Brasileira de Infraestrutura e Indústrias de Base. This was followed by a short-term postgraduate course in Finance, General from COPPEAD UFRJ in 2012.

Bruno went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Project Management from FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2008 and 2013. Bruno continued their academic journey by completing a Master's degree in Energy Planning from COPPE UFRJ in 2020. Bruno'sresearch during this period was focused on Energy Planning.

In terms of certifications, Bruno obtained the Project Management Professional - PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2014. Bruno also completed a Project Finance certification from ABDIB in October 2014. Additionally, Bruno participated in a seminar called EMPRETEC, which was organized by Sebrae/RJ, in May 2014.
