Achala Silva

Achala Silva is a seasoned software engineering professional with over 19 years of experience in various roles, including Software Engineering Manager at IFS since May 2021, where responsibility includes managing the Workflow team and ensuring alignment with business goals. Previous positions at IFS also include Program Manager and Principal Software Engineer, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the Workflow module. Prior to IFS, Achala worked at eBuilder for over 11 years as Software Architect, Senior Technical Lead, and Associate Technical Lead, contributing to complex projects in the financial sector and government procurement systems. Earlier career milestones include Senior Software Engineer roles at Zone24x7 Inc. and Epic Lanka Group, where leadership and innovative solutions earned industry recognition. Achala's career began as a Computer Science Instructor at the University of Colombo School of Computing, complemented by foundational software engineering experience from an internship at Bits & Bytes.
