Thamali Munasinghe

Thamali Munasinghe currently serves as a Site Reliability Engineer in Cloud Operations at IFS since May 2022, transitioning from an Associate Site Reliability Engineer. Thamali has been involved with SLIIT since February 2019, holding multiple positions, including Secretary of the Computer Systems and Network Engineering Student Committee and Event Coordinator for the Faculty of Computing Media Unit. Additionally, Thamali has contributed to IEEE Sri Lanka Section as Partnership Coordinator for IEEE Young Professionals and as Student Branch Operation Coordinator for the Sri Lanka Student Activities Committee. Other roles include Assistant Secretary for IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group and INSL Provincial Coordinator for IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka. Thamali also held positions with the Institution of Engineering and Technology as Secretary of IET On Campus and has previous experience as a Trainee Network Engineer at Pearson Lanka and a Trainee Systems Engineer at Arthur C Clarke Institute. Education includes a BSc(Hons) in Information Technology, specializing in Computer Systems and Network Engineering from SLIIT, complemented by studies at Cisco Networking Academy.
