Tharanga Sampath Ranaweera is an accomplished software development leader with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development and Head of ESM-R&D for Sri Lanka at IFS since January 2022, Tharanga has a proven track record in software architecture and engineering, having previously held senior positions at Villvay and Dialog Axiata PLC, where expertise in technologies such as Java, PHP, and microservices was demonstrated. With foundational skills in cloud technologies, including AWS and Docker, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Tharanga has consistently contributed to product and service innovation across diverse projects, including those for global companies like Sony and Canon.
