Thimantha Upasena

Thimantha Upasena is a seasoned QA professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering roles. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager and Process Manager - QA at IFS since February 2022, Thimantha previously held multiple positions at Pearson Lanka from July 2016 to February 2022, including Senior Lead - QE and Associate Lead - QE. Earlier experience includes roles at Virtusa from January 2011 to August 2016, namely Consultant - QA, Associate Consultant - QA, Senior Engineer - QA, Engineer - QA, and Associate Engineer - QA, where responsibilities involved designing test plans and participating in product design reviews. Thimantha holds a B.Sc in IT from SLIIT and completed secondary education at D.S. Senanayake College.
