Catherine Roberts

Catherine Roberts is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Academy Manager at IFZA - International Free Zone Authority since June 2023. Prior to this role, Catherine held various leadership positions at GEMS Education, including Head of Secondary, Deputy Head of School, and Elite Scholars Coordinator & Teacher of Spanish from August 2019 to June 2023. Experience also includes a consultancy role at Cambridge Academic Partnership, serving as SLT School Improvement Consultant, and several leadership roles at Old Buckenham High School and Bedford Free School. Catherine began the teaching career at Parkside Federation Academies, where progression led to positions such as Head of International Education and Communication, and taught Spanish and French at Wootton Upper School. Catherine's academic qualifications include an NPQH in Educational Leadership from Best Practice Network and Master of Education from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a BA in Spanish and French from the University of Exeter.
