Jeff Hamel

Jeff Hamel is a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience at IG Wealth Management, where Jeff currently serves as a Portfolio Strategist since September 2000. In this role, Jeff is a key member of a national team of Ultra High/High Net Worth Portfolio Strategists, providing portfolio analysis and investment recommendations to a wide network of Wealth Management Specialists. Jeff actively contributes to investment committees focused on establishing consistent practices regarding publicly traded securities, particularly Canadian and US equities. Prior to this, Jeff held the position of Wealth Planning Specialist, offering advice and portfolio advisory services. Jeff's early career included service as a Private in the Canadian Armed Forces, where basic training instilled the key values of Duty, Loyalty, Integrity, and Courage. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Physics from Trent University, completing studies in 1996.
