Tomoharu Furuichi

Tomoharu Furuichi is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including finance, luxury retail, and consulting. Currently serving as Head of Japan at IG Group and Representative Director and CEO at IG Securities since April 2019, Tomoharu is focused on transforming and expanding the business unit in Japan. Prior to this, Tomoharu held the position of Country Manager and CEO at GILT Groupe K.K., where successful change initiatives in strategy and operations were implemented. Tomoharu's earlier roles included Director at Samantha Thavasa Japan Limited, Senior Director at AlixPartners, Senior Executive Officer at Intelligence, Ltd., and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Tomoharu holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo.
