Joseph Romeo

Joseph Romeo has extensive experience in the retail and charitable sectors, serving as Company Director at Romeo's Retail Group since March 1987 and holding multiple titles including Director of Romeo’s Foodland, Romeo’s Foodhall IGA, and Locali by Romeo’s. As co-owner of IGA Supermarkets since July 2009, Joseph Romeo has also acted as Board Chairman and Director of the National Retail Council. Recognized multiple times as IGA International Retailer of the Year and IGA National Retailer of the Year, accomplishments include a directorial role at Marster Grocers Australia and board membership at St Hilarion Inc aged care. Joseph Romeo's leadership extends to serving as Charter President of the Adelaide Edge Rotary Club and participating in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games as a torchbearer. Education was completed at Kilmara.
