Janice James is a Senior Economic Adviser at IGAD, where they contribute to the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission. Previously, Janice held positions as a Senior Consultant for the European Union and as a Macroeconomic Advisor for the ECOWAS Commission. They also served as the Economic Advisor and Head of Strategy and Policy for UNDP from 2009 to 2016, and as an Assistant Director at the Bank of the Sierra from 1988 to 2005. Janice earned a Master's in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana and is currently engaged in further education there.
