Experimental Clonebot Assembly Project Leader – Genetic Engineering at iGEM

Pritika Acharya is an undergraduate researcher at UC Berkeley's College of Engineering, collaborating with PhD students and Professor Lydia Sohn on the tumor microenvironment of triple-negative breast cancer cells. Pritika leads the Experimental Clonebot Assembly Project for iGEM, focusing on novel cloning methodologies using CRISPR technology. Experience includes a platform discovery internship at Caribou Biosciences, research on sustainable plant-based cell culture at MilliporeSigma, and analyzing NASA’s EMIT data for methane mitigation at the Center for Law, Energy & the Environment. Early experiences include observing various medical procedures as a rotational intern at Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital and conducting protein engineering research at A*STAR. Education includes a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology with a Data Science minor from UC Berkeley.
