Emma Fotino has a wealth of experience in the fields of technical support, teaching, and museum work. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Museum Assistant at Parksville Museum and Archives, where they planned the museum's most successful family event to date. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Brock University, leading seminars twice a week and offering office hours for students. From 2015 to 2017, they held the same position at McMaster University. In 2017, they began working at Igloo Software as a Technical Account Manager, Senior Technical Analyst, and Technical Support Specialist, answering tickets, calls, and forum questions from customers, troubleshooting issues, and compiling investigation and troubleshooting data.
Emma Fotino obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from McMaster University between 2015 and 2017. Emma also earned a Master's Degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Brock University between 2013 and 2015. Her Bachelor's Degree was obtained from the University of Victoria between 2007 and 2013 in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics as well as History.
