Renée Sandhu, CMS, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in privacy strategy, brand management, and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Privacy at IGM Financial Inc. since October 2018, Renée leads the execution of a comprehensive privacy strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior to this role, Renée held various positions at Investors Group from 2008 to 2018, including Manager of Brand Management & Compliance, where guidance on marketing initiatives was provided to ensure adherence to regulatory and branding requirements. Additionally, Renée has developed recruitment processes for the Marketing Internship Program and has a strong background in compliance and marketing support, coupled with bilingual capabilities. Renée's educational credentials include certifications in privacy from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and marketing from the Canadian Marketing Association, along with certifications in financial planning and securities courses.
