Yana Deeley

Yana Deeley has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Yana started their career as a Business Analyst and Senior Investment Services Specialist at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they gained expertise in investment finance, Charles River IMS, and equity and derivatives investment products. Yana also worked on the implementation of the Charles River IMS system, documenting business requirements and providing support during QA testing.

Yana then joined CPP Investment Board as a Senior Associate before moving to HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) as a Business Analyst/Scrum Master. In this role, they led various projects, including software upgrades, vendor selection projects, and system conversions. Yana documented business processes and requirements, performed technical due diligence, and identified opportunities for process improvements. Yana also acted as a liaison between clients and vendors and communicated recommendations to executives.

Yana has also completed the Canadian Securities Course (obtained in 2010) and attained the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 certification in the same year.
