Marie Lambois is currently the President of the Règles et Qualité commission at the Conseil national de l'information géolocalisée (CNIG) and has been a representative of France at the INSPIRE maintenance group for the European Commission since 2016. Previously, at the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière (IGN), they served as the Head of the Standardization department and led various projects related to metadata and web services from 2012 to 2019. Marie completed a preparatory class in Mathematics and Physics at lycée Kléber and earned an engineering degree in Geomatics and Computer Science from the École nationale des Sciences géographiques. Additionally, they have contributed to metadata initiatives as the lead for the technical panel at DGIWG since 2017.
